EVENTS COMING UP AT JPCG!
FEBRUARY 10, 2014:: Meeting at Ella Sharp at 6:30 PM. Mini workshop on making tall mugs!
FEBRUARY 16, 2014: 3 DAYS OF CLAY organizational meeting at Ella Sharp at 4 PM.
FEBRUARY 22, 2014: JPCG sponsored kiln workshop with Motawi's Chris Reed for members! Begins at 10 AM and ends around 4 PM. Pot luck lunch, bring your own beverage. AM session will focus on kiln programming and proper use of a kiln. PM will focus on maintenance and repair of kilns. Location TBA.
MARCH 7, 8, & 9 , 2014: THREE DAYS OF CLAY CONFERENCE: Ella Sharp Museum, Jackson MI
MARCH 19-22 2014: NCECA conference in Milwaukee
MARCH 30, 2014: THREE DAYS OF CLAY break down meeting: 3 PM Ella Sharp Museum, Jackson MI
MARCH 2014: NO GENERAL MEETING THIS MONTH.
APRIL 14, 2014: General meeting with a presentation by Katharine K. from NCECA conference. Ella Sharp Museum 6:30 PM. (Possible chip & dip tray activity and/or tea tasting...TBA)
MAY 12, 2014: General meeting with wine goblet demonstration and possible wine tasting. For wine tasting, the meeting must be held in someone's home! Location TBA, 6:30 PM
JUNE, 2014: No GENERAL MEETINGS THIS MONTH.
JUNE 7, 2014: Ellas' Wine & Art Festival, noon-6 PM at Ella Sharp. We will be participating as a Guild.
JUNE 14 or 15, 2014: Exact date TBA. A summer workshop is planned for a visit to Thomas and Sarah Gelsanliter's pottery studio.
SEPTEMBER 2014: Possible fall workshop
SEPTEMBER 8, 2014: General mtg. 6:30 at Ella Sharp Museum.
OCTOBER 13, 2014: General mtg. 6:30 at Ella Sharp Museum. Mug throwing for the annual mug sale.
NOVEMBER 10, 2014: General mtg. 6:30 at Ella Sharp Museum. Glaze coffee mugs for mug sale.
DECEMBER 8, 2014: JPCG annual Christmas party. Details TBA.
DECEMBER 2014: Mug sale at Jackson Coffee Co., two Fridays in December TBA.
